Hemsby Lifeboat Day Ride-In Sunday 13th August

Hi everyone this Sunday 13th is Hemsby Lifeboat Charity Day. They’ve asked us to lead the parade floats on a very simple route from the top of Hemsby , straight down the main beach road and to park up beside the lifeboat station at the beach car park.

Meeting point 1: Burger King, Thickthorn Services (A11/A47) NR9 3AU

Meeting time: 07.45 am for 08.00 leave

Meeting point 2: Parade muster point is the old Pontins Holiday camp (NR29 4HL) which closed years ago and is all boarded up so easily recognisable which is at top of the town at 09:30 where you will be met by Marshals.

The Coxwain and volunteer crew are looking forward to meeting you. You will lead the parade as slowly as you’re comfortable with and stop every 100 yds or so for photo ops and posing or to grab a pillion if you choose. While the floats catch up before parking up to display your bikes for as long as you like beside the lifeboat station on beach car park.
