After relocating it to Hickstead 2 years ago, the 5 organising Chapters of the South of England Rally have decided to discontinue the event. Whilst it still attracted a good number of visitors, the move to the new venue presented a number of risks and challenges that
were considered too much to bear in looking out for the long term success of the event.
?The five organising Chapters sincerely thank all SofER attendees and H.O.G.? for their support over the 12 years that the event took place at Bisley and Hickstead. Relations between the five chapters have been excellent throughout those years and remain so, and
collaboration on a future event is quite possible.” Directors of The South of England Rally Ltd
H.O.G. in turn would like to say thank you and compliment all of those involved in the event over the years. I, personally have enjoyed working with them and each year looked forward to attending the event and seeing the results of their efforts. I hope that everyone ? those involved and those that have attended ? will look back on it with pride and satisfaction, as well as fond memories. I know I will.
