Thursday 4th February saw the first Ladies Night of the year at Newmarket H-D and it was great to see not only current lady riders attending but also non-riders and a number who were interested in learning to ride. We were also lucky to have a lot of members from the Fenlanders HOG Ladies of Harley present who were able to offer some great advice for those interested.

We held the event in early February so we could feature the very latest FXRG riding gear and Hi Vis wear in time for the start of the 2016 riding season, Yuliya and Lee in our Motorclothes department demonstrated the level of comfort that can now be achieved through the use of wearing the correct riding gear and also carried out a light show to demonstrate just how visible the new H-D gear is.

Whilst on the technical side, .Jon, our Master Technician showed us what simple checks we can carry out before we ride, such as how to correctly adjust suspension, check brake pads, tyre tread and pressures, oils levels etc he also gave us some great tips to look out for too.

There was a really good atmosphere all evening with lots of conversations covering many topics of motorcycling, from the social side and the many rides and events that happen each season, how to go about learning to ride, right through to the various models that H-D make and the history behind this great bike.

A big thank you to our very own Richard who worked hard to put the evening together, we had some great feedback on the night and believe the evening was a great success, it certainly won?t be the last Ladies Night that we hold this year.
