Posting on behalf of Mugsy….
Hi All, If you are fed up with Christmas shopping and fancy doing something different why not have a look at this (we did a ride out in August to Rougham and as a result were invite to attend this event)
Rougham Airfield ? Departure event
Sunday 11th December
Meet at Rougham Airfield from 10:30
The event marks the date the 94th left to fly home to the States in December 1945. A Service of Remembrance and thanks giving at 11:00 followed by a presentation from the museum?s historian and then by drinks and food till about 15:00 (they have said that they are happy for people to come and go as they wish, so don?t feel that you have to stay for it all)
People are also free to walk around the museum.
We are hoping to include a tour of Bartrams Brewery after for those who are interested, but that has yet to be firmed up.
This is a private event for selected invitees only.
Due to the possible poor weather a ride out to this event is not planned, but if you fancy coming along on the bike I am sure you will be warmly greeted.
